Hospital Update

Well, as you all may or may not know, the croup did not go away as we had hoped....at least not for our little Thomas. We are currently in the hospital with him--on night #2. He has been diagnosed with broncholitis--or more specifically, a microplasmic pneumonia. He is doing okay, he hates his oxygen and his pulsox, but he does seem to be doing better.

Our family appreciates all of you have been praying for Thomas. We love you all and hopefully we will be bringing our little lovebug home tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Croup Boys!!!!

Today the twin's hit a monumental moment in their lives--they turned 1 years old! Unfortunately, I spent the day taking them to the doctor and found out that they both have Croup. They are now on medicine and seem to be doing better already. Hopefully they beat it in time for their party on Saturday!

The Simple Things in Life

Can anyone think of anything better than enjoying a day with three wonderful boys? I certainly cannot. Here they are, playing outside with mommy and Aunt Brittani!

Kevin, AKA Diego in this case, climbing up his "tree house"

Britt and Thomas, swinging away.

Happy little Lucas! Bundled and ready to go!

Valentine's Day to the parents of 3

What exactly does Valentine's mean to a mother and father of 3? It means waking up at 6:00am, and while changing diapers, looking at each other and mumbling something along the lines of "Happy Valen--oh that one smells--tines Day." It means going to work for a couple of hours because you need the money to support healthy appetites, and chopping firewood all day long with Papa to keep the house heated. It means going out to dinner, with the kids, and barely taking a bite of your own food because Thomas is climbing out the highchair, Lucas is throwing his spoon and Kevin is wandering over to the stranger at the other table because he has noticed she has Mickey Mouse on her coat.

In summary, Valentine's Day to the parents of 3 means having more love in your life than you could ever imagine, and doing anything to protect that love. It means being blessed with more happiness and joy in your heart than you ever thought imaginable. It means getting to wake up day after day to the wonderous feeling that your life and soul is complete, not just by your partner, but by your wonderful kids!

Trust me, I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!!

Another Darling Angel....

I realized that throughout my time blogging, I have not yet talked about one of my other most favorite children in the world--Isaac Leclercq. Isaac is Kelly and Andre Leclercq's son, and my God child. He is a wonderfully strong willed young man full of personality and charm. It is going to be oh so much fun watching the 4 boys (my three and Isaac) grow....and I'm sure it's going to be an adventure as well!!!! I love you Isaac!

Welcome to the world McKenzie May! She is the beautiful daughter to Cortney and Aaron Smith. She was born today at 5:43pm. The doctors had to do an emergency c-section, but both mom and baby are doing well. We are all so proud of you, Cortney and McKenzie...and of course Aaron too!
