Happy Birthday Paul!

Happy birthday to my amazing and wonderful husband! That's right, Paul turned 29 today! To celebrate the occassion, we had a nice, low-key weekend. We also took the boys bowling today, which was a lot of fun! Me and your boys love you so much Paul! We are so lucky to have you in our lives and are so appreciative of the hard work and dedication that you do for us. Happy, happy birthday! And here are some pictures to start off 2012!

G.I. Thomas

The boys playing video games....and notice that they have even included Thomas' favorite stuffed animal, Pandy.
My little scientist about to do dig some dinosaur bones out of a block of stone
Kevin with his mallet and chissle
And then Thomas took his turn...I think he actually managed to chissle the most bones out!
And of course, Lucas helped too
Kevin won an "Outstanding Studen" award for 1st grade
Jessica holding Landon & Brittani holding Elaina
Elaina and Kevin, just chillin'
Thomas holding Landon....he said to me the other day, "Mom, I love Landon best of all." It was super cute!
Lucas holding his little cousin
And Kevin holding Landon
Hello there Landon!
Bowling time! Landon's first trip to the bowling alley.
Lucas' turn!
Lucas would dance the whole time while his ball traveled down towards the pins--which was a lot of dancing, cause speed was not something that his ball had a lot of
Now Thomas on the other hand, he would chuck that ball down with quite a bit of force!
He even got a spare once! He jumped all around with excitement!
And Kevin was quite the little pro! He too got a couple of spares!
Good job buddy!
The birthday boy refusing to take his picture with me, so I am posting this one anyway.

Christmas Magic

Well this Christmas was wonderful! It was definently one for the books! It was filled with great family fun, friends, and activities! My children really were at the perfect ages this year to make Christmas as exciting as it could be! They counted down the days until Santa came with pure anticipation for the big night. But they also developed a real understanding of the true meaning of Christmas....Kevin will say, "It's better to give than to receive, but it's not about the gifts, it's about Jesus' birthday!"

We did all kinds of fun things that made the holidays even more memorable! We went to the North Pole, 7 Falls, the Electric Safari at the Zoo, had a Sugar Cookie party, had parties at the kids' schools, had Christmas with the Bullards/Smith's, had an early Christmas with Dave & Marianne, had Christmas Eve at the Zeornes' house, and enjoyed a relaxing, low-key Christmas day at home! We truly were blessed this holiday season!
