This week we got to go to Disney on Ice 100 Years of Magic! It was fantastic. It was such an enjoyable experience. We got to go to dinner at the World Arena and even got to meet Mickey Mouse! Unfortunately, Lucas was not too fond of Mickey. He was terrified! Thomas and Kevin certainly enjoyed meeting him though. And the show was great—the kids just loved it. They danced and clapped, and awed and ohhhhhed. It was so much fun! Here are a couple pics from the night:

Colorado Weather
Another good week comes and goes. This week we were busy with the snowfall. We actually didn’t get quite as much as I thought we were supposed to, but enough for the boys to enjoy! Kevin even taught Lucas how to do snow angels. Kevin was so proud of Lucas for making an angel! He is such a good big brother.
Despite the snow, on Wednesday, somehow Colorado Springs hit temperatures in the 70’s. Therefore, when we were at Papa and Grandma Slade’s, the boys got to run around in the backyard. They loved it, and it makes me anxious for summer.
Kevin got to go to Fort Collins with Grandma Traci on Thursday and Friday night. They went up to set up all of the graduation details for Ryan. Kevin had a blast. Ever since he has gotten home, he has been non-stop about all of the fun that him and Uncle Ryan had. They got in the hot tub, went to Chuckie Cheese, went to Uncle Ryan’s school, and watched “Princess and the Frog.” He is just too cute!
Lucas has a new hat. It is a Buzz Lightning hat, and he doesn’t want to ever take it off. He is such a hat person. It is so adorable though because he would sleep in the hat if I let him! And Thomas is really doing well with the whole potty-training thing. We are so excited that training him has been so easy. He’s just such an independent person and once he is determined to do something, he just does it.

Rest and Relaxation
Well, the boys are doing great. Last weekend, Kenzie came over and played with the boys. She is becoming more vocal and didn’t hesitate to let the boys know when they were on her nerves! It was really funny because Thomas sat on the little car that she was playing with and she yelled at him. That little boy jumped right up and looked at us with complete surprise. At least there’s one person that can put that little kid in his place! We told Kevin that Kenzie was being a little shy and needed to warm up a bit and so Kevin sat next to Kenzie and said, “You don’t have to be scared; you need to realize that we are family.” It was so cute! And then he felt her head and said to us, “I think she is warm!” Lucas just played in his own little world, with his little Mickey and Dora figures.
On Thursday, we played a lot of pretend with dressing-up in pirate costumes. Lucas is so cute because he puts on his pirate hat and then bends his little pointer-finger like a hook and walks around saying, “Arrrggg.” He even makes his soft, little voice go deep and gruff. It is adorable!
This past weekend, my Mom, Marianne, Jessica, Brittani, and I had ourselves a “girl’s weekend.” It was amazing. We went up to Denver, stayed in a hotel, went shopping, ate great food, went swimming, watched a chick flick, and finished up our stay with some much needed massages! We had such a great time!
Anyway, here are some pictures of Kenzie and of my little pirate kiddos:

School, Independence, and Mickey Mouse
Well, now that the birthday partying has come to an end, the Krupp family enjoyed a more relaxing week. Of course, we still managed to keep busy!
The boys are just getting so big! Thomas is really starting to do well with his potty-training, and he is really into doing things all by himself. He insists on picking out his little clothes, dressing himself, putting his clothes in the washer (love that one), and so on. He is just really establishing his independence. It is adorable. Of course, he is still as ornery as ever!
Lucas is going through more of a Mickey-phase than he was before. Each morning, he wants to wear a shirt with Mickey on it, and at night, he wants his Mickey pajamas. Luckily, for his birthday we received Mickey pjs and shirts, so I am able to accommodate his wishes for the most part. He is really starting to be more vocal and assertive, which is good since he has always been so shy.
Kevin is now in junior kindergarten at his daycare. He is doing really well there. They have him writing words, which he is getting pretty good at. He brought home a paper in which he wrote “dinosaur and daddy” and he did a really good job with it. He is also getting better at his basic addition and subtraction. His little brain is such a sponge, and the best part is, he thinks school is fun!

Happy Birthday Thomas, Lucas, and Papa Dave!
And the baby news just keeps on coming! Paul is going to be an uncle, and I am going to be an aunt! That’s right; Jessica has a baby on board! She is due October 11th! We love you Jessica, and are so proud of you!
Also, Happy Birthday to Papa Dave (February 24)! We love you very much!
Finally, Happy Birthday to two of the sweetest children in the whole world. Lucas, you are such a sweetheart and are growing into such a wonderful little guy! Your natural demeanor is so well-natured and innocent. And Thomas, your wild-side never ceases to entertain and worry me. Despite your ornery nature, you are my little mommy’s boy! I love you both so much and wish you nothing but the best birthday ever!
Today we had their birthday party at Chuckie Cheese’s. It turned out to be a great time, despite the twins, especially Lucas, hating the live Chuckie Cheese! They screamed and cried, but Kevin, Kenz, Lily, and Isaac seemed to like the big mouse! Other than that, all of the kids ran around and rode the many rides. Thomas hardly quit moving for even a second, Kevin had a ball, Lucas hid in his little hood—but did have fun on some of the rides, Kenz enjoyed her first time at Chuckie Cheese (and was quite the little dare devil), and Isaac and Lily had a blast as well! Aiden, being only 2 ½ months, enjoyed the festivities from his little car seat, but we look forward to him joining in the fun next year! The twins received many wonderful gifts, and we can’t thank all of the givers enough! We are so lucky to have so many amazing people in our lives.
Here are many pictures from the birthday bash:
Yum, yum--Thomas likes chocolate brownies!
Lucas, playing with the first present he opened (he was so content with it that he didn't even want to continue opening anything else, luckily Kevin and Thomas were around to help with that)

Sick Kids and Due Dates
Well, in the good news department, we recently found out the due dates of Cortney’s & Jami’s babies. Jami’s is due August 25th and Cortney’s is due August 21st. That should make for one exciting August week!
The kids have been sick this week. They just have colds/sore throats, but it has made for a very long week. However, that has not kept them from being absolutely adorable, so here are a couple of pics:

Thomas and Lucas, in the buff, hiding under the table so I can't get them dressed
